ATHLETIC UNION!!
Our VPSA, Emma Montague is responsible for the overall running and promotion of the Athletic Union. However she receives a lot of help from our AU Officer, Claire Nineham. Claire should be the first person you contact with any questions about the Athletic Union . It's her job to make sure you are represented and that your needs as a club or a paticipant are catered for, she can then feed this back to Emma.
Background
There’s not many things in life that can top the experience of being part of a university sports club. Here at Royal Holloway the Athletic Union strives to ensure that your experience is the best it can be.
With 34 different sports on offer and each club having its own unique identity and culture, you really are spoiled for choice. Our clubs and teams not only train and compete at the highest levels in national (BUCS) and local (ULU) competitions, but many also offer sport on a recreational and developmental level, perfect for beginners. Also don't forget the strong social side that most of our clubs have. After a Wednesday afternoon of playing sports the clubs will then often been seen out around campus celebrating their successes!
We are very proud of our clubs for their activities both on and off the pitch. It is only by getting involved that you’ll see why!
