Welcome to the Student Activities Department

The Student Activities Department is run by the Vice President (Student Activities) Emma Montague. Emma is responsible for four areas: clubs, societies, volunteering and student development. If you have any questions about any of these areas please feel free to pop into the SA office between 11am-4pm or email vpsa@su.rhul.ac.uk.

Also within the SA office you’ll find Andrew Steadman, our Student Activities Manager. Andrew works closely with clubs and societies to ensure they are running smoothly; managing fixtures, booking rooms, checking insurance and making sure you’re following health and safety regulations.

Athletic Union

The Athletic Union oversees all 34 clubs on campus ranging from highly competitive clubs, playing two fixtures a week to clubs purely for social games. To contact any of our clubs email the club name followed by @su.rhul.ac.uk or refer to the Students' Union guidebook.

Societies Federation

The Societies Federation oversees 58 societies. We offer a huge array of societies covering music and arts, politics, religion, skills, awareness, culture and societies purely for socialising! Volunteering

There are numerous Volunteering opportunities available for all students at the Students' Union, which run in conjunction with the Community Action Department at College.

Student Development

Student Development schemes and programs are being researched at present and it we are set to launch our first Development Day in the Spring Term.
