► Tommy's
Week Days
With our traditional expresso machine, selection of daily papers free for you peruse at your leisure and comfy, relaxed decor, Tommy's is great for a coffee break or a catch up with your mates.
We've also got WiFi installed, so it is a great venue for less formal group meetings for your course, or if you want to catch up with your work or facebook outside of the library walls.
Union Nights
On function nights Tommy's opens alongside the main bar at 10pm with the bars closing at 2am and the main venue staying open until 3am. If enjoying a few drinks and dancing the night away is your thing then Tommy's is most definitely the place to be. Danced your feet off? Come and take the weight off on one of our sofas, or go get the drinks in at the bar!
Tommy's is also available for private hire during week nights, so if you see a night where there isn't an even and you've got a Birthday coming up or just fancy throwing a private party, check out our hire page for details on how to do it.
Club or Society? Contact the Ents department for details on hosting an event in Tommy's, or holding your aftershow in there (we can even arrange an extended bar!).

- Wednesday nights at the Union is VK night with all VK's at £1.50 from the Dive Bar.

Look out too for our Shooter Girls and Boys, avoid queueing at the bar and be served right then and there.
