► Policy File
Policy governs everything that the Students' Union does, from whether or not we support top-up fees or are against sweat-shops, to more operational issues such as how our media operates or what to do when someone breaks the rules and regulations of the constitution.
All our policy is passed at the General Meeting and will stay in place for seven academic terms (just over two years) until it needs to be re-presented to remain valid.
You can find all the policies currently in place below - click on the policy number to download and find out what they are mandating people to do, or what the Union's stance is on a given area. For more information about any of the policies below. Any student can create policy and submit it to a General Meeting to be passed, for any other information or help regarding policy, e-mail the Democracy Officer, Ben Sibthorpe.
