The final Op E has finished! Thank you to everyone who filled it in and keep your eyes peeled for the results!
Also......IT'S CULTURE WEEK!!! So make sure you come down to the union and get involved in all the exciting things that are going on! Or, pick up a leaflet from around campus and have a lookie :)
As a random aside, I just wanted to thank everyone who works so tirelessly to make this union as awesome as it is. Thank you to the amazing sabbs, other exec members, sub committees, volunteers. Su staff...everyone! I'm so glad I've got the chance to meet so many lovely people this year :)

What a crazy term this has been so far!! From one event to the next I've been so busy I haven't even thought twice about my blog and I can only apologise now for that!!
EXCITING NEWS!!! LAST OPERATION ENTERTAINMENT!!!
That's right, you heard it here! Next week will see our last operation entertainment of the YEAR! Thank you so much to everyone who has been involved so far and for giving all your valuable feedback. This Operation Entertainment will be going on throughout reading week so we are going to be doing Operation Entertainment gone VIRTUAL. There will be a questionnaire that you can fill in online, giving you a chance to let us know what you've thought of Ents this year aaaaaaaaaand you may win a few prizes along the way :) so make sure to get involved!!
Don't forget, foam party at the union tomorrow - woop woop! See you all there xxx

I CANNOT BELIEVE the final day of term is nearly upon us!! This term has gone so fast! This week is going to be awesome, I'm very much looking forward to all the christmas meals, Insanity Boudoir and of course.... BLOWOUT!! Which has officially sold out now!!
So, this week I've had entertainments committee meeting which is always good :)
Been trying to get ideas for a post grad event as well so if you're keen to get involved and are a mature student make sure to email me at entertainments@su.rhul.ac.uk I would LOVE to hear from u, the more the merrier as they say!

It's christmaaaaaaas! :) which can only mean one thing...time to get your mulled wine and mince pies from bake and bite!!
So, following operation entertainment TAKE 2 we've been collecting all your results and reviewing what YOU the students want! Make sure you watch out for the £5 ticket breakdown....coming soooooon :p

Hellooooooooooooooo!!
Since the last Op E we have been giving you LOADS of things that you asked for! You wanted Hollywood glamour night? You got it! It's this Friday so make sure you get your ticket NOW!! Right now, go to the box office! It's going to be awesome. We also had live music (Oxjam and N Dubz...nana niiiii!) and more themed events (999's coming up so get your costume quick!)
And there's ANOTHER Operation Entertainment event coming up THIS FRIDAY!! We'll be giving you feedback from the last survey and asking you some more questions so if you've got suggestions, ideas, comments, ANYTHING...get involved! We'll be all around campus with a table set up in Bake and Bite so come talk to us! I promise we don't bite :)

Wow! So my time back at Roho so far has been BUSY! From the whirlwind that was Fresher’s week, to Exec meetings, Senate and Sub Committee elections and the first Ents Committee meeting – I’ve done quite a bit!
The main thing this week was good old Operation Entertainment!!
If you still haven’t heard about this, Op E is a chance for all of YOU guys to give your voice back to the union! Through a series of forums, surveys and feedback sessions throughout the year, we want to find out just what you want from your union nights!
Friday 9th October saw the first feedback session for Operation Entertainment, you probably saw myself and other sub-committee members running around trying to get your opinion on union nights! It went really well and we got so much feedback from you guys so a massive THANK YOU for that J!
It’s not too late though! You can still give us your feedback and opinions on the union!

Jess has spent her week doing Exec training; learning all about our Student's Union, rules, policies and ways to offer Roho students the most from their university. As well as making preparations for the year ahead, we've been looking back (and meeting) people from Royal Holloway's past. From James' handslapping games and Charlotte's SHAG awareness, to Emma's powerpoint skills and David's technological guidance - Jess has learnt it all. She has now also learnt how to type her blogs. Yippeeeeee :)!
With the fresher's arriving in less than a week, there's lots more fun to be had so let the good times roll...
