The Student Advice Centre on the first floor of the Students' Union is open 9.30am - 5pm, Monday – Friday. We operate an open door policy exclusively for students during term time, so if we are free, we will be happy to see you without an appointment. However, during vacation periods students should call to book an appointment. Any member of the public who wishes to visit the Student Advice Centre will need to arrange an appointment in advance on 01784 486300. Welfare of our students is a top priority of the Students' Union, and it is our job to help students have an enjoyable and trouble-free university experience. The Advice Centre aims to offer help and advice to all students in accordance with its Confidentiality Policy. However, in a small number of cases this may not be possible, in which case our Withdrawal of Services Policy may come into effect.
